JAM pedals began in 2005, when guitarist and sonic explorer Jannis Anastasakis set out to build pedals that didn’t just sound good, they sounded alive. What started as a one-man workshop in Athens has grown into a passionate team of builders, artists, and musicians who still make every pedal by hand, one at a time.
While rooted in tradition, our designs embrace thoughtful technological advancements to offer both simplicity and versatility, with no bad settings in sight.
Our pedals are built to inspire, empowering musicians to explore freely, without getting distracted by complexity.
We believe in doing things a certain way, using through-hole components, point-to-point wiring, and hand-painted enclosures. Not out of nostalgia, but because it feels better. It sounds better. And it invites you to play differently.
Great tone is personal, imperfect, and alive.
That’s why we work slowly, intentionally, and by hand, so that what you plug into doesn’t just sound good, it sounds like you.
Over the years, our pedals have become trusted companions of some of the most inspiring players in the world:
John Scofield, Nels Cline, Steve Lukather, Adrian Belew, Nile Rodgers, Mick Thomson, Greg Koch, and many more.
Used and Approved by some of the GREATEST players in the world!
We’re chasing that moment when you plug in, hit a chord, and something magic happens.
When a tone surprises you. When an idea takes shape. That’s when a pedal stops being a tool and becomes a collaborator.
That’s the JAM ethos..
