One of the most severely-hit industries from C-19 related measures put in place worldwide, has undoubtedly been Music. With virtually all concerts cancelled or postponed for at least 1 year, the income of countless music-industry professionals around the world has basically been swiped.
Most of us here at JAM pedals are active musicians and sound professionals, who are passionate about building pedals addressed to fellow-musicians every day, so witnessing the toll the C-19 pandemic is taking, has been profoundly troubling.
We all collectively must act now to ensure that once all of this is over, the people and infrastructure necessary to set-up, support, host and perform gigs, shows, festivals and concerts will still be able to do so, by donating to charitable organizations providing monetary relief to music-industry professionals.
We teamed up with Nels Cline, Graham Coxon, Bill Frisell, Julian Lage, Sean Ono Lennon, Steve Lukather, J Mascis, Lee Ranaldo, Nile Rodgers, Richie Sambora, Neal Schon, John Scofield, Alex Skolnick, Andy Timmons and David Torn, to bring you a unique and engaging donation platform that seeks to raise as many funds as possible for eligible music-industry professionals by enabling the people and organizations looking to contribute to do so, in the process receiving unique one-off handmade and hand-painted pedals out of JAM pedals’ Custom Shop, hand-signed by their favorite artists. The campaign will be live from June 21st until 11.59pm July 12th, 2020 (EEST).
Additionally, in an effort to broaden the donation base as much as possible we offer “Lending a Hand” limited t-shirts which you will only be able to order for as long as the campaign is live!
The charities that JAM pedals and the artists have picked to support are Musicares, Jazz Coalition, Jazz Foundation, New Music USA, Crew Nation and Northern Greece Musician’s Union.
Please remember, that this is not a platform to buy expensive limited pedals, but a platform to help fellow musicians in need as much as possible where the highest offers made are rewarded with a limited pedal hand-signed by their favorite artist.
The world depends on music and now music’s workers depend on all of us.
Thank you for considering the “Lending a Hand” charity campaign!
