What the Eureka! Does
We designed the Eureka! to blend the midrange bite of germanium fuzz with the full-bodied grit of Muff-style distortion, using a proprietary silicon transistor circuit.
It responds beautifully to different guitars, amps, and effects, while keeping its distinct voice. A 3-way toggle adds low end in steps—great for switching between pickups or dialing in gated-fuzz tones.
About the “Achenbach Series”:
John Achenbach is a Storyboard Artist and Animation Professional with a long history on the legendary show “The Simpsons” and a guitarist/musician. The “Achenbach Series” is the result of a loving friendship that has developed through the years out of mutual respect for what each of us does!
Here’s a little insider’s look into his process for coming up with his designs, using the “Achenbach Series” Tubedreamer as an example:
