What the Rattler ltd. Does
We built the Rattler ltd. around the rare NOS LM308AH can-version chip, delivering rich, symmetrical-clipping distortion with smooth, vintage character.
Featuring point-to-point wiring and housed in a leather enclosure, it’s made with carbon-comp resistors and tropical fish capacitors for classic tone with modern response.
The toggle switch lets you choose between a high-gain mode and a more open, low-gain setting, giving you everything from sweet overdrive to singing distortion—equally suited to single coils and humbuckers.
About the “Achenbach Series”:
John Achenbach is a Storyboard Artist and Animation Professional with a long history on the legendary show “The Simpsons” and a guitarist/musician. The “Achenbach Series” is the result of a loving friendship that has developed through the years out of mutual respect for what each of us does!
Here’s a little insider’s look into his process for coming up with his designs, using the “Achenbach Series” Tubedreamer as an example:
