What the Ripply Fall Bass Does

We’ve combined our WaterFall (chorus/vibrato) and Ripple (2-stage phaser) pedals into one rugged, all-analog unit tailored for deep modulation textures—designed for players who want truly immersive tone.

  • Three effects in one: Use chorus, vibrato, phaser—or layer them for lush, 3D sound.

  • Triple-speed footswitch: Hit the middle switch at any moment to triple the WaterFall’s speed—unlocking everything from Leslie-style swirls to wild ring mod tones or warped chaos.

  • Dual expression inputs: Assign real-time control over WaterFall’s Depth and Speed via expression pedals—even mid-performance.

  • Tunable modulation: Two toggles let you choose between chorus vs vibrato, and between subtle or pronounced WaterFall character. Speed and depth controls are all at your feet.

  • True bypass ensures tone purity when disengaged.

Plus, it runs on standard 9 V DC (tip‑negative), draws just 26 mA, and ships in a pedalboard-friendly size

About the “Achenbach Series”:

John Achenbach is a Storyboard Artist and Animation Professional with a long history on the legendary show “The Simpsons” and a guitarist/musician. The “Achenbach Series” is the result of a loving friendship that has developed through the years out of mutual respect for what each of us does!

Here’s a short video of him talking about the story behind our collaboration:

Here’s a little insider’s look into his process for coming up with his designs, using the “Achenbach Series” Tubedreamer as an example:

“You just can’t beat nature. For inspiration, I researched the first amplifier tubes to design a JAM pedals character and found this Fleming tube from 1904. Then a friend recently posted a real pic of a virus under an electron microscope. Damn.. that’s freaky.” John Achenbach
