What the WaterFall Bass Does

We developed the WaterFall Bass to bring the lush chorus and vibrato sounds of the original WaterFall to bass players, with circuit adjustments tailored to preserve low-end clarity and response.

It features:

  • Chorus and vibrato modes, selectable via toggle switch

  • A second toggle for choosing between two modulation intensities

  • A fully analog signal path

  • True bypass switching

If you’re looking for a warm, musical modulation pedal that complements the natural depth of your bass, the WaterFall Bass is built for that.

About the “Achenbach Series”:

John Achenbach is a Storyboard Artist and Animation Professional with a long history on the legendary show “The Simpsons” and a guitarist/musician. The “Achenbach Series” is the result of a loving friendship that has developed through the years out of mutual respect for what each of us does!

Here’s a short video of him talking about the story behind our collaboration:

Here’s a little insider’s look into his process for coming up with his designs, using the “Achenbach Series” Tubedreamer as an example:

“You just can’t beat nature. For inspiration, I researched the first amplifier tubes to design a JAM pedals character and found this Fleming tube from 1904. Then a friend recently posted a real pic of a virus under an electron microscope. Damn.. that’s freaky.” John Achenbach
